Testimonials

The West End knows us by name

From Palladium stars to the theatres and bars that host us — here’s what people say about a night out with West End Outings.

It’s a community in and of itself!

“West End Outings does the most brilliant work bringing so many people together to enjoy theatre - it’s a community in and of itself! The support from West End Outings has been nothing short of incredible and it’s always a very special night when a West End Outings group is in. You just know everyone is there to cheer you on and the joy of so many audience members sharing the experience as one creates the most palpable excitement in the room. No atmosphere like it!”
Rob Madge
West End Palladium Panto star and Author

It’s a fun, inclusive community…

“I've been connected with West End Outings since its inception and as an LGBTQ+ supporter and ally, I always jump at the chance to participate in their events, in any way I can. It's a fun, inclusive community building group that brings together like minded people, celebrating the arts, at affordable prices and their events lead to memorable shared experiences and lasting new friendships. Who could want for more?”
Christina Bianco
Broadway, West End & International Star

He knows what makes something work both sides of the curtain…

“As well as running West End Outings, Adam is a theatre maker, so he knows what makes something work on both sides of the curtain. To have a WEO group at your show is a boon: you get a highly discerning and (hopefully) appreciative audience and great feedback. Adam's enterprise in setting up WEO was formidable. His excellence in running it is even more so.”
Richard Stirling
Actor, Writer & West End Producer

We’re proud to support the exceptional experiences…

“West End Outings has been a loyal and valued client of Group Line for the past 4 years. Working with Adam is always a pleasure — he consistently goes above and beyond to secure the very best seats for his groups and approaches every request with enthusiasm and care. Our long-standing partnership has grown into a genuine friendship, and we’re proud to support the exceptional experiences he creates for his customers.”

Filling the bar with laughter, friendly faces and that shared pre-show excitement…

“Adam already a familiar and welcome face at the bar, started West End Outings with its first event in May 2022 and asked if there might be a space for the group to gather before heading to a show. Since then, it has grown into something really special. We now regularly welcome West End Outings groups before performances, filling the bar with laughter, friendly faces, and that shared pre-show excitement. As an LGBTQ+ bar, it means a great deal to us to offer a space where people feel safe, relaxed and completely themselves. Many of our own customers are now part of the group. Adam is a genuinely lovely person, and that comes through in the community he's built. The group always find fantastic shows and deals and even our team has been lucky enough to enjoy them too. We're incredibly grateful to have seen and been part of the journey and can't wait to see what's coming up next.”

The members of WEO are just a delight…

“JERMYN STREET THEATRE is proud to be one of the theatres that WEST END OUTINGS visit us regularly. The members from WEO are just a delight, and they always have a great time, be it Panto, Musical, or play. Long may our relationship flourish”
Penny Horner
Executive Director & Co-founder of Jermyn Street Theatre, London

Such a wonderful idea…

“It’s always a great night when west end outings come to the show. Such a fun group of people, evidently all having a brilliant time and they are an absolute pleasure to chat to after the show. Such a wonderful idea to bring people together like this.”

FAQ

Pricing, plainly

Everything you need to weigh up before you join. Which tier suits you, what you’ll get, how much you’ll save, and how it all works once you’re in. No small print surprises.

Not for your first one. But after that, you can’t book again without a membership. Joining keeps those member prices on every show, and the higher tiers add the extra per-event discounts.

There are four tiers:

  • Basic — £25/year. Access to the platform and all standard events. Tickets are priced below standard box office rates – Adam negotiates directly with venues, so you’re already saving compared to buying independently.
  • Single — £45/year. Everything in Basic, plus an additional member discount on selected events throughout the year and access to Premium Members events.
  • Joint — £70/year. The same benefits as Single, covering two people. Up to two discounted tickets per event.
  • Family — £90/year. Covers a family unit – up to five discounted tickets per event.

All memberships renew annually. You can upgrade at any time.

All memberships are paid – Basic starts at £25/year. The difference is in what you get beyond platform access.

Basic membership lets you browse and book events at the standard WEO price, which is already below standard box office rates. That’s the baseline for everyone.

Single (£45/year), Joint (£70/year), and Family (£90/year) memberships give you a further discount on top of that on selected events throughout the year for a number of tickets (subject to the plan selected) and applied automatically at checkout. They also give you access to Premium Members events – exclusive outings not available on the Basic tier.

If you’re planning to attend more than one or two events a year, the jump from Basic to Single is £20 – and the additional discount per event will typically cover that inside your first booking.

All WEO events are already below standard box office prices – that’s the baseline for every member. On a paid plan (Single, Joint, or Family), you get a further discount on top of that on selected events. The additional saving varies per event, and the event listing always shows the member price so you know exactly what you’re paying before you book.

Members on paid plans typically make back the cost of their membership within the first event or two of the year.

Yes. You can upgrade from Basic to Single, Joint, or Family at any time. Your renewal date stays the same – you just move onto the new tier and start benefiting from member discounts straight away.

You can cancel your membership renewal at any time from your account settings, which will stop the automatic renewal at the end of your current membership year. You’ll retain access to the platform until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Yes. Once you have an active paid membership, you get a personal referral link from your account. Anyone who signs up using your link gets 50% off their first year of membership. When they join, you receive a £5 voucher to use on a future booking – it appears automatically in your account under My Rewards.

Yes. West End Outings is a London theatre membership club that gives members access to group outings at West End shows throughout the year. Membership starts at £25 per year and covers a range of shows – musicals, plays, ballet, and more. Members attend as part of a social group rather than alone, with pre-show socials and a host at each event. The club runs separate events for LGBTQ+, Women Only, All Together, and Matinee audiences, as well as occasional exclusive Premium events.

One route is a theatre membership club. West End Outings offers London-based group outings to West End shows at below-standard box office prices – Adam Green, who runs the club, negotiates group rates directly with venues. Members on higher tiers (Single at £45/year, Joint at £70/year, Family at £90/year) receive an additional discount on selected events on top of the base group pricing. Discounts vary by event and are shown on each listing before you book.

A West End Outings membership gives access to a programme of group theatre outings throughout the year, including West End musicals, plays, ballet, and ice shows, as well as occasional Getaway Trips outside London. All members attend events with a host and a pre-show social. Membership starts at £25/year (Basic tier) and includes below-box-office ticket pricing on all events. Higher tiers – Single (£45), Joint (£70), Family (£90) – add further per-event discounts and access to exclusive Premium events.

Your membership renews automatically on the same date each year. You’ll receive a reminder before renewal so there are no surprises.

Joint and Family memberships are designed for exactly this. A Joint membership covers two people, and a Family membership covers a family unit. Basic and Single memberships are individual.

No. Premium Member events are exclusive to paid membership tiers (Single, Joint, and Family). Basic membership gives you access to the main events programme at standard prices.

Yes. A gift card can go towards a membership as well as towards event tickets. If the recipient isn’t a member yet, they can use the credit to join and then book shows at the member price. Anything left over is saved to their account as wallet credit.
