Jerker – LGBTQ Event
About this event
From the producer of F**king Men, Afterglow (2019), and Happy Ending comes Robert Chesley’s JERKER, a bold two-hander, making its highly anticipated Waterloo East Theatre premiere this Autumn.
JERKER is a daring and seductive two-person drama about two strangers who connect through a series of late-night phone calls. What begins as anonymous fantasy quickly sparks into something deeper.
Hidden from each other’s sight, the men reveal secrets, fears, and longings through nothing but their voices. Each call pulls them further into an intimate world where imagination becomes a lifeline, where the line between fantasy and genuine connection begins to blur, raising the question of who they really are to one another.
By turns playful, provocative, and unexpectedly tender, the play explores how intimacy can grow in isolation. It’s a steamy, suspenseful journey into desire, vulnerability, and the power of being heard.

Frequently asked questions
Contact us as soon as you know. Tickets are issued at the pre-show social for the majority of events, so if you’re arriving late and can’t make the meet-up, we need to know so we can make sure you still get your ticket and can get into the theatre. Communication is the key.
Tickets are non-refundable in most circumstances. If you can no longer attend, you have two options:
- Gift your ticket to a friend or family member. You can transfer your place to someone else – just make sure they’re aware of what’s involved in a West End Outings event so the experience runs smoothly for everyone.
- Let us know and we’ll try to seat-fill. If we can resell your seat, we’ll issue a credit to your account wallet, which you can put towards a future booking.
It’s important you contact us as soon as you know you can’t attend. Tickets are issued at the pre-show social, so knowing who’s coming matters.
Your ticket will be issued at the pre-show social by your host, not sent in advance unless it is a specific ticket only event. This is intentional – it’s part of how the group experience works and how we keep track of who’s attending. If you’re going to be late, it’s important to let us know in advance.
Meet-up locations vary by event. You’ll get the full details, including the specific bar or meeting point and what time to arrive, in the reminder email sent in the week before your event. If anything changes, we’ll contact you.
The social side is as much a part of the experience as the show itself. For West End theatre events, we usually meet around 90 minutes before the show at a nearby bar or pub. Your host will be there to welcome you, and you’ll have time to get a drink and get to know the other people going. Tickets are handed out before you head into the theatre, so you can keep the conversation going.
After the show, everyone meets outside the theatre for a group photo before heading off.
You’ll receive full details – meet-up time, location, what to expect – by email in the week before your event.
It depends on your membership tier:
